1. MINUTES
a. Mr. James Herndon has requested to appear before Council to address concerns with a neighbor operating an ATV repair business out of their home in a residential area.
b. Mr. Russell Hamman has requested to appear before the Council in regards to the revitalization of the Brunson Theater & Texas Ave.
c. Present a proclamation designating February 19-25, 2017, as National Engineers Week in Baytown.
d. Present a proclamation designating February 7 - March 5, 2017, as The Great Texas Warrant Roundup in Baytown.
a. Conduct the public hearing concerning a proposed amendment to the official zoning map to rezone approximately 0.72 acres of land, located at 906 Massey Tompkins Road, legally described as Tract 30B out of the J. W. Singleton Survey, Abstract 709, Baytown, Harris County, Texas, from Mixed Residential at Low to Medium Densities (SF2) to General Commercial (GC).
b. Consider an ordinance amending the official zoning map to rezone approximately 0.72 acres of land, located at 906 Massey Tompkins Road, legally described as Tract 30B out of the J. W. a. Consider a resolution transferring unencumbered appropriations in the Fiscal Year 2015-16 General Fund Budget to cover budget overruns in the Legal and Fire Department budgets.
b. Consider a resolution authorizing the City to submit a continuation grant application for the Police Department to the Criminal Justice Division (CJD) of the Texas Governor's Office through the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC).
8. CONSENT All Consent Agenda items listed are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Council Member requests, in which event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda.
a. Consider two (2) appointments to the Charter Review Committee.
b. Consider four (4) appointments to the Baytown Library Board.
