Present recognition of the collaborative efforts and success of the BigNET project.
Consider an ordinance adopting the City of Baytown Municipal Budget, FY2013-2014.
Consider an ordinance amending utility rates in accordance with the rate study performed by Burton and Associates.
Receive the 2013 Appraisal Rolls certified by the Harris County Appraisal District and the Chambers County Appraisal District.
Receive the effective and rollback tax rate calculation for the 2013 tax year (Fiscal Year 2014).
Consider a proposal to consider a tax increase.
Consider an ordinance setting the time, date, and place of two public hearings on the proposed tax increase and setting the time, date, and place at which the City Council will vote on the proposed tax rate.
Conduct the first public hearing regarding the proposed annexation of approximately 16.643 acres of land situated in the Ashbel Smith Survey, Abstract 954, just west of Sjolander and south of I-10 in Harris County, Texas.

Consider an ordinance authorizing an Earnest Money Contract with the Baytown Police Association, Inc., for the purchase of approximately 2.14 acres located adjacent to, and to the east of the Baytown Police Station, described as Tract 6A, Abstract 709, J W Singleton Survey, Harris County, Texas.
Consider a resolution canceling the City Council Regular Meeting scheduled for Thursday, October 10, 2013.
CONSENT All Consent Agenda items listed are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Council Member requests, in which event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda.
