ON TOP OF THAT, THE TOWING COMPANIES, FROM MY RECOLLECTION, HAVE NOT PARTICIPATED BECAUSE THEY CANNOT CHARGE ADDITIONAL FEES BY WHAT SOME OF THESE STATE, THE TDLR SHALL ALLOW, UH, OR POSSIBLY CAN ALLOW THE TOWING COMPANIES TO, UM, UH, POSSIBLY CAN ALLOW THE TOWING COMPANIES TO CHARGE THOSE FEES.
OUR CONTRACT OR OUR RFPS AND CONTRACTS HAVE EXCLUDED THOSE FEES, UH, FOR THE TOWING COMPANIES TO BE ABLE TO PLACE, WHICH HAS RESULTED IN FEWER COMPANIES DOING BIDS WITH BAYTOWN FOR HEAVY DUTY, FOR HEAVY DUTY TOWING, IF I REMEMBER THIS CORRECTLY.

AND WE WERE HOPING THAT WOULD PASS THE SAVINGS BACK ONTO OUR CITIZENS AS WELL.

AND, UH, IT JUST MEANT A LOT TO HAVE THAT NEIGHBORHOOD GROUP, UM, PUT THAT TOGETHER.

AND I DID WANT TO SAY THAT, UM, I REALLY, REALLY APPRECIATE ALL THE GUYS THAT CAME OUT FROM BAYTOWN PD.
Y'ALL WORKED WHAT SEEMED LIKE VERY COHESIVELY WITH, UH, GOOSE CREEK PD.
AND, UM, I JUST REALLY APPRECIATE IT.
UH, IT, IT, IT MADE ALL THE STAFF AND STUDENTS FEEL LIKE THERE WAS GONNA BE QUICK RESPONSES AND EVEN HELPED WITH, UM, A LOT OF PARENT TRAFFIC.
AND, UH, I, IT STARTED OFF A LITTLE ROCKY WITH THE TRAFFIC, BUT IT VERY QUICKLY WAS RESOLVED.
AND I THINK THAT WAS DUE TO THE RESPONSE FROM BOTH PDS WORKING TOGETHER.
