BY AND LARGE, THEY'RE STICKING FOR THE PAST THREE YEARS THEY'VE BEEN HERE AND WE'VE ONLY BEEN GROWING BY 3 MILLION TO $4 MILLION A YEAR.

SO LET'S AVERAGE THAT OUT AND SAY IT'S $4 MILLION A YEAR.

I'VE ALREADY, I'M ALREADY BEHIND AT THIS POINT.

THIS MEANS I CAN'T ADD ANY NEW EMPLOYEES ANYWHERE ELSE.

OKAY? THIS MEANS THAT I CAN'T HAVE ANY OTHER GROWTH ANYWHERE ELSE.

AND SO THE REASON I CAN'T COMMIT TO THAT ANSWER BEING THAT IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE ABSORBED IN DEPARTMENTS IS BECAUSE I'M ALREADY GROWING MORE THAN I, OR, UH, I'M ALREADY GROWING LESS IN REVENUE THAN I AM IN EXPENSES.

AND SO I CAN'T GUARANTEE, I CAN GUARANTEE 'CAUSE I KNOW WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE RIGHT NOW.

THE REASON THAT WE HAD GROWTH IN FY 26 BUDGET IS BECAUSE THE FIRE DEPARTMENT UPPED THEIR, THEIR FEES, WHICH ADDED $1 MILLION AND OUR INVESTMENT INCOME IS NOW STABILIZED.

IT ADDED AN ADDITIONAL 1.5 MILLION.

BUT NOW THAT THOSE ARE STABILIZED, THAT GROWTH ISN'T GONNA BE HERE ANYMORE BECAUSE WE'RE BASED, WE'RE BUILDING OUR REVENUE BUDGET OFF OF THIS NEW STANDARD THAT IS ALREADY THERE.

AND SO THE ONLY THING I CAN COUNT ON IN REVENUE GROWTH IS THIS TAX RATE.

AND I HAVE TO PLAY BETWEEN THE THREE TO $6 MILLION RANGE AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS.

SO RIGHT NOW, THE COUNCIL HAS A GROUP THAT IS TRYING TO REPLACE TWO OF THE INDIVIDUALS, POSSIBLY THREE BECAUSE THEY WANT THIS, THE NO NEW REVENUE RATE.

AND THAT'S WHAT THAT GROUP IS TRYING TO DO.

SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE FUTURE LOOKS LIKE.

YOU ALSO GOT A LITTLE BILL PER ISSUE ON THE NEW , THE STATE'S BACK IN LEGISLATION BECAUSE THE STATE IS TRYING TO REDO WHEN THEY START UP NEXT WEEK, THEY'RE TRYING TO DO THIS AS THE STANDARD.
