CITY OF BAYTOWN NOTICE OF MEETING THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN AND THE BAYTOWN MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT WILL PARTICIPATE IN A JOINT MEETING THURSDAY, MAY 23, 2024 6:30 P.M. 1. CITIZEN COMMENTS Notice is hereby given that in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, prohibits the City Council from discussing, deliberating, or considering, subjects for which public notice has not been given on the agenda. Issues that cannot be referred to the administration for action may be placed on the agenda of a future City Council Session.

3. PROPOSED ORDINANCES
a. Consider an ordinance authorizing the adoption of the Downtown Arts District Blueprint.
b. Consider an ordinance authorizing the adoption of the Baytown Economic Prosperity Roadmap.
c. Consider an ordinance to provide the disbursement request from the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
4. PROPOSED RESOLUTIONS
a. Consider a resolution accepting the Preliminary Service and Assessment Plan for the Bay Creek Public Improvement District.
5. REPORTS
a. Receive the City of Baytown's Quarterly Financial and Investment Reports for the Quarter Ending March 31, 2024.
6. CONSENT All Consent Agenda items listed are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Council Member requests, in which event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda.
a. Consider an ordinance authorizing funding for the engagement of Husch Blackwell LLP to advise on economic development and general legal matters.
7. MANAGER'S REPORT Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 551.0415 of the Texas Government Code, the City Council of the City of Baytown may receive a report about items of community interest from City staff and/or a member of the City Council, but no action or possible action shall be taken or discussed concerning the subject of such report, except as provided by Section 551.042 of the Texas Government Code.
